Aurora Bridge

I listen to my favorite radio station back in Seattle on the internet every morning. This morning they are talking about the Aurora bridge and building a new one that will prevent people from using it as their tool to end their life.

I immediately thought of Krissy's friend who jumped and ended her life from that same bridge a few years ago at age 15. I have to wonder, if it was harder to jump would she be alive today...

    I think what would be accomplished in this case is that by making the choice to jump a little harder, that impulsive actions might be avoided. Of course there is no way of knowing how many if any jumps are impulsive versus planned, but if one life could have been spared it would be worth it, in my opinion.
    
    Being found by the parents at home would indeed be an awful event. I can't imagine. But I can't imagine thinking every day of your child falling through the air and landing on the hard cold cement below. I know I think of it way too
